    A customer doing random DDOS attacks from his VPS and was generating some random lag or make remote desktop unstable.

    We have block his VPS and service should be back normal.

Speed port of the server (Resolved)

    We got report of slow speed on this server (around 100mbps) and after investigate we notice that's the switch port was 100mbps.

    We have open a request to the datacenter to check and fix it and it should be fix certainely before next 24 hours.

    In meantime if you do big download/upload you will be limited to around 70Mbps.

[AMS] 2 Servers affected (Resolved)

    One rack failed in our Datacenter in Haarlem (Netherlands) result in 2 servers downtime.
    Partner datacenter after fix many rack (seems got a big issue with power line) need to change our power supply that's burn on many computers.

    One server was down for 4 hours.
    Second server got fix much longer with 14 hours of downtime due of broken disk and RAID rebuild took hours.

    Each request took dozen of minutes to much more to get answer since this power outage affect thousand of servers in the Datacenter.

    Sorry for this issue and time for fix it out of our control.

[LAS VEGAS] Emergency Maintenance (Resolved)

    LAS VEGAS Servers where reboot and Datacenter just sent this information in the same time :

    "Dear Customers,

    We are performing some emergency maintenance this afternoon to replace two defective PDU units which provide power to approximately 40 dedicated servers.  We expect these servers to be down no more than 30-40 minutes.  We will make every attempt to gracefully power down all affected servers prior to handling the switch.

    We apologize for the short notice, and appreciate your patience as we work to improve the quality of service that we provide.


    You will need to relaunch application that's is not running in service mode.

    Maintenance windows was absolute need after last failure of the 12/02/2014, replacement PDU was planned. However Datacenter should inform us in advance.
    We are sorry as they have to do an emergency replacement rather than a planned replacement.

    This maintenace was to be done after the defective PDU on the 12/02/2014. More information here :

[USA-PHX] RAID issue (Resolved)

  • Dear sir,

    This server have hardware raid card failure or memory on raid card failure result of corrult data.
    Since yesterday performance on disk access going degrade until server crash.

    One disk was also corrupt and maybe start generate this issue.

    We replace Raid card and failure disk. Downtime was several hours.

    There is no more error in system and speed is normal.
    The raid is under processing for mirroring on new disk.

    We use RAID1, that's means even of such failure, no data is lost.

    We have 4 disks in this server separate on two RAID1.

    Performance for customer on second Raid will be not optimal for next 8 hours.
    This include plan for 200W/400W/800W on this server.

    We notice a power issue happen at Las Vegas Datacenter, All servers goes down for about 5-10 minutes + boot time and reload time.

    Report from LA datacenter :
    "Our techs have determined that the PDU providing power to your servers has a defective circuit breaker. 
    We are ordering a replacement unit and will schedule 
    a maintenance window to implement a permanent fix."

  • Several customers report us some anormal speed result in uploading data.
    Since last days we try to find and fix the issue in collaboration with the Datacenter in Texas.

    We will need to perform a complete checkup tomorrow. All VPS will be offline from 22pm GMT+0 to 23pm GMT+0.
    We think, we will need 10 minutes but we could need more, up to one hour.

[USA-LA] Core Network Equipment Upgrades (Resolved)

    Over the next few evenings, our Las Vegas Datacenter will be transitioning all customers over to a new, more powerful core routing infrastructure.  This upgrade will allow for our continued expansion.  We expect Each rack to be down for no more than 10-20 minutes while it it moved over to the new router.
